All about me…

Annyeonghaseyo~ As what you have read this post is all about my self, so to start with it; I am Pauline Q. Escueta, a Senior High School Student. In this post I will be showing you some of my hobbies and interest that I usually do, sit back and enjoy~

First off is Reading, I absolutely love reading books especially non-fictional ones. I have always loved reading “Fault in Our Stars” by John Green, it is my ultimate favorite because it made realize a lot of things and it also made me reflect on life itself.

Aside from reading novels, I also enjoy reading books about Poetry and Literature, especially from the writers Lang Leav and Michael Faudet. Their works of poetry, prose and short stories have inspired me so much and it has also helped me look in to new things with different perspectives.

This one of my favorite poetry books, it is “Love Looks Pretty on You” by the International Bestselling Author Lang Leav. This book was recently released on the 29th of January this year, to honestly say I was overjoyed when I got my hands on my own copy of this.

Love Looks Pretty On You, is a book full of poems, prose and short stories. It is about mostly about Love and Empowerment, to to honestly say this book has inspired and encouraged me a lot.

Besides Lang Leav, I also adore the works of Michael Faudet. He is also an International Bestselling Author, his works are to die for!

Through Lang and Michael’s works, they have helped me see things differently. They have given me different perspectives on how I can be able to things in different ways. Their works have also inspired and motivated to strive and work harder, that is why I would totally recommend it for you to read~

I grew up with books as my best friends, they took me deep in my thoughts to different places, knowing different people (book characters), and they also allow me to re-imagine certain situations in my head. Nowadays a lot of people seem to lose interest in reading hard bounded books or paperback ones just because of the uprising features of technology, people can carry phones, tablets and laptops instead to carrying books; which is also very convenient. But we should always remember that no matter what medium you may be using a good book and a good place to read is all that you need.
